Died Feb. 18, 2017

Wiley Mozelle Hill Hines, 92, Goldsboro, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017.

A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Hill and Anna Eason Hill.

Mrs. Hines received a business degree from Crumpler School of Business.

Mozelle was a bookkeeper at Dewey Brothers, and later a caregiver at Goldsboro Christian Daycare.

As an adult, she continued growing in her walk with God at Salem United Methodist Church, Second Baptist Church, Trinity Baptist Church and Pikeville Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Hines dedicated her life fervently to Christ, and to raising her children to serve Him.

A service to celebrate the life of this Christian lady will be held Thursday evening, Feb. 23, 2017, at 6 p.m. at Pikeville Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mark Whitfield and the Rev. Brent Snook officiating.

Visitation will follow the service at the church.

Burial will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.

Mozelle is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Samuel Glenn and Pam Hines; three daughters and son-in-law, Arcie Ann Brown, Joy Lynne and the Rev. Brent Snook and LaDonna Lee Hines; sister, Cora Roberts; brother Burnice Hill; niece, Bessie Beamon; six grandchildren, Matthew Hines, Brogden Hines, Zadok Hines, Kristina Sherf, Tiffany Block and Heather Chadwell; and eight precious great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arcie Leon Hines; three brothers, Buddy Hill, Edward Hill and Ham Hill; and two sisters, Alice Rose and Louise Zambelli.

May she rest in peace and rise in glory.
