RONALD E. STEVENS

Ronald Earl Stevens, lifelong resident of the Grantham community, passed away peacefully in his sleep at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Ither McClevister Stevens and Anna Best Stevens, and a sister, Dorothy McKinzey.

Ronald served in the United States Army, and was a World War II veteran.

He was a well-known mechanic within the Grantham community. He was well known for his mechanical creations, and was the "go-to" person for fixing farming equipment.

Ronald is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Eugene Head; a son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Sylvia Stevens; a sister, Nellie Maides; and a brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Betty Lou Stevens.

He also had three grandchildren, Preston Stevens, Holly Sharp and Mindi Schedel; two step-grandchildren, Keith Head and Kimberly Glass; and two great-grandchildren, Lillian Ayscue and Elizabeth Schedel.

A graveside service was held Saturday, Feb. 11, at 3 p.m. at Selah Christian Church, with the Rev. Patrick Muston officiating.

Memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center in memory of Ronald Stevens.
