Paul Marshall Leeper, 70, Goldsboro, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by his family.

Paul was born in Maryville, Mo., on April 29, 1946 to the late Paul Edward Leeper and Thelma Eckles Leeper. He was employed as a production manager with Cooper Standard in Goldsboro.

While a resident of Missouri, Paul was a city police officer in Maryville, Mo. He was later employed by Uniroyal in Maryville. While in Goldsboro, he was a member of the Wayne County Amateur Radio Association and the Outer Banks Repeater Association. Paul was also a Mason.

Masonic rites will be rendered on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel at the First Presbyterian Church in Goldsboro, followed by a service celebrating Paul's life at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary, with the Rev. Dr. Robert Bardin officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday following the service in McChesney Hall. Interment will be in the Graham Cemetery in Graham, Mo.

Paul is survived by his wife, Coleen Leeper; daughter, Alicia Marie Leeper of Wilmington; sisters, Bernetta Williams of New Port Richey, Fla., and Helen Ryan of Cincinnati, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews he loved very much.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in memory of Paul to the First Presbyterian Church, 1101 E. Ash Street, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
