EDWARD O. BAGLEY III

Edward Orrick Bagley III, 85, died Monday at Barbour Court Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Little Rock, Ark., he was the son of the late Edward O. Bagley Jr. and Wynnette Manning Bagley.
After a few early jobs, Ed’s life’s work was as a job corps counselor for the state of North Carolina and caring for the needs of his tenants.
A service to celebrate his life will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Ed is survived by his sister, Carol Mezey Bagley of Wilmington, N.C.; nieces, Eve Mezey, Frances LeMay and Michelle Drury; and a nephew, Tom LeMay.
