PHILIP DARRELL EARP

Philip Darrell Earp, 47, Goldsboro, unexpectedly went home Feb. 4, 2017, to be with the other angels and loved ones in heaven.
Philip was a miracle and a blessing from the moment he was born. He shaped the lives of friends and random strangers in ways that made them into better people.
Despite his own disabilities, he was always eager to help others. His smile was like sunshine. A quiet touch on your arm let you know he was there.
Though he is no longer with us in body, Philip will never leave our hearts, minds or spirits.
A service celebrating Philip's life will be held Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home.
A time of visitation will be held in the hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Willow Dale Cemetery.
He is survived by his brothers, Everette Lee Earp of Clayton and David Louis Earp of Trinity.
He will be fondly remembered by his caregivers and friends at O'Berry Center.
