Leroy "Chapel" Russell, 87, died Friday at home in Kenansville.
Funeral will be at Big Zion AME Zion Church in Kenansville Friday at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Larry Smith officiating. Burial will be at Bryant Miller Cemetery in Kenansville.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Russell of Kenansville; six daughters; and a son.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 tonight at Swinson Funeral Home of Kinston and Friday from noon to 1 p.m. at the church.
Arrangements are by Rose Hill Funeral Home Service.
