Retired Coast Guard Cmdr. Alan "Dinty" Coningsby Moore died Jan. 19 in Gainesville, Fla.
Funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Eureka United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Eureka Cemetery with full military honors.
He was born Jan. 9, 1926, in Amesbury, Mass., to the Rev. John and Florence "Florrie" Kate Jackson Moore. He was married to the late Elizabeth Moore.
Visitation will be 10 to 10:45 a.m. Friday in the church fellowship hall.
Arrangements are by Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home.
