After their marriage, Bill and Nan were stationed all around the country before settling in Goldsboro after Bill's retirement from the United States Army.

Their love of God, family and country was evident to all who knew them.

Nan was a member of Stoney Creek Original Free Will Baptist Church.

Nan was instrumental in the start of Second Baptist Daycare, later becoming known as Wayne Christian Daycare, working for more than 30 years. After stepping down as the director of the daycare, she continued working at the daycare until her retirement at the age of 85.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Corrieri will be 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017, at Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Barry Williamson officiating. The interment will be noon Friday, Jan. 27, at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall and at other times, at the home of Bill and Joyce Corrieri.
