Mr. Ulysses E. Bowden, 84, 705 S. Breazeale Ave., Mount Olive, passed Saturday.
The celebration of his life will be held Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Winn Chapel Church, 110 Smith St., Mount Olive, N.C. He will be laid to rest at Carver Memorial Park, Breazeale Ave., Mount Olive, N.C., with full military honors.
There will be a visitation held Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016, from 2 to 6 p.m. at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, with the family arriving to receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m.
He will lie in state from noon to 1 p.m. at the church.
At the family's request, there will not be a public viewing after the service.
