Betty Joyce Sutton Boston was born to the late Willie M. Sutton Sr. and Mattie L. Bowden Sutton in Mount Olive, N.C.
She passed away Nov. 4, 2016.
Betty was a resident of South Florida for the past two months, coming from Queens, N.Y.
She was with the Manufacturers Hanover Corp. in Manhattan, N.Y., for 23 years.
Betty was a Jehovah's Witness.
Betty loved her family.
She was married Sept. 26, 1964, to her husband, Laverne Boston.
Along with her husband, she is survived by her children, Sarah C. Roberts (Lonnie), Sylvester W. Boston (Showeshi) and Joycelyn Laverne Johnson (Gaarcia), and her grandchildren, Cameron Xavier Roberts, Morgan Cordell Roberts, Racine Celestine Roberts and Greyson Gaarcia Johnson.
Service will be in Highleah, Fla., Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016.
