Joyce Varnell Davis, 79, Eureka, died, Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016.
Funeral Saturday 3 p.m. Eureka United Methodist Church. Interment Eureka Cemetery.
The family will be at the church Friday 6:30 to 8 p.m.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Jackson and Sadie Owens Varnell, and daughter, Jennifer Davis.
She had retired after 40 years as a registered nurse in Wilson and Goldsboro.
Surviving are her husband, Charles T. Davis Jr.; daughters, Nora Aycock (Gary) of Pikeville and Lisa Friesen (Kevin) of Greensboro; grandchildren, Andrew Friesen, Jonathan Friesen, Nicole Ardes (Reese) and Logan Aycock; and brother, Jerry Varnell (Faye) of Smithfield.
