Anastasio Maldonado-Medrano, 57, died Monday at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Burial will be in Mexico.
He was the son of the late Josefina Medrano Zavala.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Garcia-Arias, and seven children.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory.
