Christine M. Hites, 85, Wilson, passed away Oct. 25, 2016.
A celebration of Christine's life will be Friday 11 a.m. at West Nash United Methodist Church of Wilson, followed by a fellowship luncheon. Inurnment services will be held at noon at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro Monday, Oct. 31.
Christine is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, retired Chief Master Sgt. Ralph William "Bill" Hites of Wilson; three daughters, Sandra Lewis of Lubbock, Texas, Harriett (Ray) Podraza of Memphis, Tenn., and Kathy Lindsey of Wilson; two brothers, Jimmy (Linda) Murray of Wilson and Jerry Murray of Fremont; two sisters, Shirley Kelly of Wilson and Linda (Thomas) Proctor of Fremont; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lillian Murray, and her brothers, Sherwood, Douglas (Bo), Ray and Joey Murray.
