Marie Angela Quinn Garner, 87, Goldsboro, passed away early Monday morning, Oct. 17, 2016, at Brookdale Berkeley.
Marie was born in Liverpool, England, Aug. 26, 1929, to the late Stanley and Mary Schofield Quinn. She was married to the late Marvin Scott Garner.
Marie was a professional soloist.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, from noon to 1 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service celebrating Marie's life at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Father Alex Gonzalez will officiate. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Marie is survived by her sister, Monica Glandt of Palm Springs, Calif., and a nephew, Paul R. Robinson of Lancaster, Calif.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Julia P. Johnson.
