GARY "DANNY" JACKSON

Gary Daniel "Danny" Jackson, 64, died early Wednesday morning at his residence.
Born in Greene County, he was the son of the late Robert Lynyard Jackson and Margaret Thompson Jackson.
He was also preceded in death by brothers, Tommy Jackson and Johnny Jackson, and his sisters, Evelyn Jackson and Dixie Taylor.
Danny was the owner of Circle "J" Stables, and was a veteran of the United States Army.
A service to celebrate Danny's life will be held Saturday, Oct. 22, at 2 p.m. at Emmaus Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jim Willoughby and the Rev. Ralph Parker officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Family members will greet friends Friday night from 6 to 8 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
Danny is survived by his wife, Carroll Jackson; a daughter, Tabatha Williams; two sons, Gary Jackson and Chris Jackson; two brothers, Scott Jackson and Steve Jackson; a sister, Myra Holland; and four grandchildren, Gary Daniel Jackson III, Madison Danielle Williams, Zoey Brie Jackson and Carson James Jackson.
