Nora Lee Wise Bennett, 88, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late William David and Nora Bertha Wise, and was married to the late Rufus Bennett.
She faithfully attended Friendly Holiness Church, where she was a member until her health would no longer allow her to attend.
She was also a member of Woodmen of the World Lodge No. 1257.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with pastor Jennifer Medlin officiating.
The family will be receiving friends for one hour prior to the funeral service beginning at 2 p.m.
The immediate family will hold a graveside service.
She is survived by her four children, Brenda Wolfe, Dianne Fields, William Bennett and Shirley Kephart; six grandchildren, Denise Rodgers, Jeff Kephart, Jim Kephart, Crystal Sparrow, Kenny Fields and Stephanie Wolfe; 11 great-grandchildren, Farrah, Brody, Hailey, Caleb, Eli, Brandon, Samantha, Nate, Ayden, Gavin and Colton; and one great-great-grandchild, Bella.
