Vertrube B. Taylor, 79, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016.
She was predeceased by her parents.
She is survived by her two sons, Keith and Kevin Taylor; one sister, Blonnie Walton; one brother, Milton Best; and other loving relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held Wednesday Oct. 12, 2016, 10 a.m., followed by homegoing service at 11 a.m. at Takoma Park Baptist Church, 635 Aspen St. Northwest, Washington, D.C., 20012.
Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Arrangements are by McGuire.
