Rosie Lee Simpson, 82, 106 Slocumb St., Mount Olive, died Friday at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Michael McDougal officiating. Burial will be in Carver Cemetery.
Born in Sampson County, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Rosa Simpson.
Seven children survive.
Visitation will be Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel, with the family present. At other times, the family will be at the home.
