GEORGE UZZELL
George Goodman Uzzell, 66, of 1601 Berry St., died Wednesday, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
He was born Sept. 2, 1949 in Wayne County to Elbert and Essie Hall Uzzell. He is survived his wife, Brenda Uzzell and one son.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m., at the Greater Guiding Star United Holy Church. Burial will follow in the Wayne Memorial Park.
Visitation is Tuesday from 2 until 7 p.m. with the family present to receive friends from 6-7 p.m. at the Haskins Funeral Home. At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence where they will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
