LOUISE TAYLOR DUNMIRE

Louise Taylor Dunmire, 92, Goldsboro, passed away Monday, July 25, 2016, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Louise was born in Pitt County Oct. 25, 1923, to the late Frank and Hattie Hodges Taylor. She was married to the late Richard DeWayne Dunmire.

Louise had retired as a comptroller with the city of Roseville in Michigan.

She had been baptized in the Baptist faith.

Louise was a generous and gracious woman. She will be remembered for the love and laughter that she shared during her well-lived life.

Louise was an avid golfer, and she was a longtime member of New Bern Golf and Country Club.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 28, 2016, from 11 a.m. to noon at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service celebrating Louise's life at noon in the chapel. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive.

Louise is survived by her nieces, Mary Jane Hardebeck of Seven Springs and Susan Baker and husband, James, of Farmville; nephew, Robert Lockamy of Greenville; great-nieces, Shirley Worrell and husband, Buddy, of Seven Springs and Mary Toler of Raleigh, whom she loved as a daughter; and a great-great-niece, Lauren Toler of Raleigh.

She is also survived by the staff and her many friends at the Pines in Goldsboro.
