BILLY C. BORDEAUX
Aug. 12, 1944-July 21, 2016
Mr. Billy Clement Bordeaux, 71, Snow Hill, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 21, 2016, surrounded by his family and holding his sweet wife, "Suzy's" hand.
A native of Wayne County, he was born Aug. 12, 1944, the son of Richard Clement and Gladys Howell Bordeaux.
A retired truck driver and mechanic, Billy especially loved his classic and antique cars, and also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was a member of Davis Grove Baptist Church, which always held special meaning to him, but had more recently attended Coker's Memorial Church.
Billy is survived by his wife, Sue Turnage Bordeaux of the home; daughter, Melissa Bordeaux Hart and husband, Timmy, of Snow Hill; son, Timmy Bordeaux of Goldsboro; his special grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, Alexis Hart and Landon Hart; a sister, Patricia Bordeaux Pelt of Goldsboro; and brothers, Charles Bordeaux of Dudley and Danny Bordeaux and wife, Sherry, of Goldsboro.
In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Savannah Marie Hart.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, July 24, at the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service, with the Rev. William Meares and the Rev. Steven Gay officiating. Interment will follow at Snow Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 to 2:45 p.m. Sunday and other times at the residence.
