Funeral Tuesday 11 a.m. Stantonsburg Cemetery.
Surviving are his daughter, Sondra Bell (David) and family, Chandler and Zayn Bell of Wilson; son, Michael Howell (Barbara) and family, Iris and Corey Howell of Florida; and brothers, Jerry Howell (Kathy) of Wilson and Phillip Howell (Valeria) of Smithfield.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Frank and Blanche Moore Howell; sisters, Adean Matthews and Ruth Ballinger; and brother, Marion Howell.
