Johnnie Lee Holland, Freeport, N.Y., died June 29, 2016, in New York.
He was born Oct. 19, 1945, to Susie Holland and the Late Curtis Lee Reid.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Holland of the home; one daughter, Tonya McPherson (George); one grandson, Jonathan McPherson of Freeport, N.Y.; mother, Susie Holland of Alexandria, Va.; one brother, Zachary Holland (Barbara) of Brooklyn, N.Y.; six sisters, Esther Leach (George) of Alexandria, Va., Mirrian Jones (Leslie) and Verlene Moore (Robert) both of Wilson, N.C., Carolyn Artis of Pasadena, Md., and Curlene Reid and Velma Reid both of Black Creek, N.C.
Services will be held Saturday 10 a.m. at Zion Cathedral, 312 Grand Ave., Freeport, N.Y.
Viewing will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.
