Kay Watkins Whitley, 79, died Tuesday at WilMed Rehab Center.
Graveside service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Kenly Cemetery, with the Rev. Andy Cockrell officiating.
She was born in Johnston County Oct. 21, 1936, to the late Henry L. Watkins and Ora M. Watkins. She was married to the late Gilbert Ray Whitley.
She is survived by a son.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 tonight at Kenly Funeral Service and at other times at the home of her son.
