REMATHA ROWE JEFFERSON

Rematha Rowe Jefferson, 69, Stallings, N.C., formerly of Goldsboro, N.C., entered her eternal rest Monday, May 16, 2016, after a brief illness.
Beloved wife of her husband, Wayne of 32 years, she was preceded in death by her parents, Marie Faison Rowe and Matthew Rowe; brother, Ronnie; and sister, Glenda.
She is also survived by her daughter, Michelle of Mount Olive, N.C.; brother, Kenneth (Sonya) of Raeford, N.C.; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
"A celebration of Rematha's life" will be held Saturday, June 25, 2016, at noon at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Metrolina Association for the Blind, 704 Louise Ave., Charlotte, N.C., 28304; Hadley Institute for Blind, 700 Elm St., Winnetka, Ill., 60093; or Safe Animal Haven, P.O. Box 3206, Matthews, N.C., 28106.
The family will be present at 11 a.m., and the memorial service will start at noon.
