MARILYN GAINEY RYDEN

Marilyn Gainey Ryden, passed away Friday, May 27, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro, N.C., at the age of 76.
Marilyn was born in Goldsboro, N.C., Nov. 27, 1939. She was the youngest child of the late Walter and Gladys Gainey.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father and brothers, Walter Gainey, James Gainey and Dale Gainey.
She is survived by her sons, Calvin Ryden of Temperance, Mich., and Carl Ryden of Cary, N.C.; her three grandchildren; brother, Ashley "Duck" Gainey of Grantham, N.C.; sister, Judy Gainey Cates of High Point, N.C.; and many loving nieces and nephews.
The celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, June 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lane Tree Golf Club, 2317 Salem Church Road, Goldsboro, N.C.
Marilyn's last wishes were for her family and friends to celebrate her with fond memories and stories about her life.
