Robert Kenneth Garrou, 73, Pikeville, passed away on Saturday at his home.

Bob was born in Flushing, N.Y., June 27, 1942, to the late Robert and Angela Trzcinski Garrou.

He began working early in life with IBM before being called to serve the Lord as a minister.

Bob was a very strong believer in Jesus Christ, and felt that nothing was impossible when you place your trust in God. His faith gave him the courage to face anything in life.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 8, 2016, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service celebrating Bob's Christian witness at 2 p.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Barry Stallings officiating. Interment will follow in Pikeville Cemetery.

Bob is survived by his wife of 55 years, Louella Soldano Garrou; children, Christina Feliciano of Cortland, Ohio, Kathleen Zimmermann and husband, Paul, of Westminster, Md., Michael Garrou and wife, Michelle, of Goldsboro, Noelle Weston and husband Kevin of Callaway, Md., and Thomas Garrou and wife, Deana, of Goldsboro; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his brother, James Garrou of Hermiston, Ore.
