Phyllis Ann Hines Whitfield, 64, 906 Canal St., succumbed to the Lord's call to eternal rest Thursday in Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Her life will be celebrated Tuesday at 1 p.m. in James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home. Her mortal frame will be laid to rest in Wayne Memorial Park.
She leaves precious memories to her children, Donnesha Whitfield and Keva Hines of Goldsboro; her siblings, William Hines Jr. of Raleigh, Diane Hines Lewis of Selma and Janet Hines Teasley of Goldsboro; one grandson; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation Monday from 2 to 7 p.m., with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at Haskins Funeral Home. At other times, the family will receive friends at 210 Apt. H. Hereford Drive, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
