GWENDOLYN ATKINSON PENN

Gwendolyn "Gaye" Atkinson Penn, 56, formerly of Goldsboro, died Monday in Parrish, Calif.
She is survived by her husband, Alvin Penn; her parents, Herman and Mary Atkinson Edwards of the Saulston community of Goldsboro, N.C.; two sisters, Vickie Atkinson and Yolanda Edwards; one uncle, Raymond (Geraldine) Atkinson; three aunts, Sarah (David) Frazier, Alice Atkinson and Geraldine Atkinson.
She was a graduate of Eastern Wayne High School class of 1978 and East Carolina University.
Funeral services will be held Friday at Second Baptist Church, 2911 Ninth St., Riverside, Calif., at 7 p.m. Burial at the Veterans Cemetery in California.
No flowers, cemetery request. Donations may be made to the Central/Eastern Wayne Alumni Scholarship Fund in her memory.
