JoAnn Nottingham Brewster, 80, Goldsboro, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
JoAnn was born in Ranger, Texas, Oct. 31, 1935.
She was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Goldsboro.
JoAnn was also a member of the Goldsboro Woman's Club and the Salvation Army Auxiliary.
A service celebrating JoAnn's life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016, at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Goldsboro.
The family will greet friends following the service at the church.
JoAnn is survived by her husband, Thomas William Brewster; daughters, Kellye Downs and husband, Bill, of Little Rock, Ark., and Cheryl Peil and husband, Mark, of Goldsboro; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by a sister and brother.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to the Salvation Army, 610 N. William St., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530, or St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 200 N. James St., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
