Ronald Shalique Owens, 21, died March 12 at Carolinas HealthCare System Waxhaw.
Funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Northeast Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will be at Jones Family Cemetery.
He was the son of Tesha Lejune Owens of Monroe.
He is survived by a son and a daughter.
Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory, with the family present 6 to 7.
