Dorothy McClung Price, 77, known to most as simply Dot, passed away early Tuesday morning, March 22, while in the care of Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

She was a longtime Faison area resident, and was a member of Faison Baptist Church.

Dot is survived by her seven children and their spouses, Deborah and William Sanderson of Kenansville, Craig and Nanci Price of Seminole, Fla., Elaine and Larry Bailey of McDonough, Ga., Nicky J. Price of Raleigh, Ronnie and Cindy Price of Pennsylvania, Johnny and Fay Price of Ohio and Ronda and Gary Bradshaw of Faison; a brother, the Rev. Ronald McClung and wife, Joan, of West Virginia; 19 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

Dot was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Allen Price; a son, Steve Corsaro; her parents, Newlon and Hallie Boone McClung; and two sisters, Betty Yost and Georgia Walker.

She was a native of West Virginia.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 24, at 7 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive, with visitation immediately following. Burial will be Friday, March 25, at 11 a.m. in Faison Cemetery. Officiating clergymen will be the Rev. Paul Rose, the Rev. Ronald McClung and the Rev. Andy Beard.

While flowers are welcome, for those wishing to make a memorial contribution instead, the family suggests Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
