Ronald Lamont "Scooby Doo" Howell, 64, 1300 E. Elm St., Apt. B, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Memorial service will be Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. in J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. Interment will be later at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
He was born in Wayne County May 2, 1951, to U.J. and Letha Dancy Howell.
He is survived by four children.
