Christine Wooten, 79, died Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center of Goldsboro.
Funeral will be Friday at noon in J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. Burial will be at Old Mill Cemetery.
She was born in Wayne County to Leamon Sr. and Mattie Mae Summers Wooten.
She is survived by a daughter.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m., with the family present 5 to 6, in the chapel.
