Billy Ray Howell, 84, Rosewood, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016, at home.
At his request, no formal service will be held. Burial will be at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Howell was born in Wayne County Aug. 10, 1931, to the late Charlie and Sarah Pate Howell. He was the husband of the late Beulah Gurganus Howell.
He is survived by one son, Billy Duwayne Howell and wife, Kate, of Rosewood; two daughters, Darlene Wiseman and husband, Doug, of Kenly and Carolyn Robards and husband, Stephen, of Rosewood; one sister, Dorothy Ward of Wilmington; eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
