RUTH E. FENNELL

Ruth E. Fennell, formerly from Goldsboro, the fourth child of the late James and Maude Fennell, departed this life Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, in New York City, where she resided for more than 50 years.
Ruth was educated in the Goldsboro City Public School System, and graduated from Dillard High School in 1957.
She was also a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Left to cherish Ruth's memory are her brother, Carl D. Fennell (Geneva); sisters-in-law, Barbara and Annie Fennell, two nieces; one great-niece; four nephews; eight great-nephews; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service for Ms. Fennell will be held in New York at Unity Chapels Inc. on 2352 8th Ave., New York, N.Y., 10027.
