Laura Lee Young, 57, of Ayden, died Tuesday.
Laura was born May 18, 1958 in Lenoir County to Mary Swinson Young of LaGrange and the late Dan West Young.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Friday at 3 p.m. from Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Brad Mitchell officiating.
In addition to her mother, Laura is survived by a daughter.
Laura's family will receive friends Friday following the memorial service. Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home in LaGrange.
