Leona Elizabeth Hardison Hill, 90, of Garner, died Sunday, Jan. 24. Leona was born March 25, 1925, in Lenoir County to the late James Hardison and Victoria Herring Hardison. She was the wife of the late Alpheus Hill.
A service to celebrate Leona's life will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Mallie Hinnant officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery.
Leona is survived by two sons.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, where arrangements are being handled.
