John William Barnette, 80, died Monday at his home.
He was born Nov. 3, 1935, in Duplin County to Paul Barnette and Sarah Creech Barnette.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Barnette of the home, a son and a daughter.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in Devotional Gardens.
Arrangements are by Community Funeral Home of Warsaw, Inc.
