Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Andrews Cottle, Dunn, was called to her heavenly home Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016.
Martha was born June 27, 1929, in Sampson County, N.C., to the late Henry J. and Ellen Lane Andrews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Avery Lee Cottle.
Martha was the owner and operator of Quick Dry Laundry and Car Wash in Dunn. She opened the business in 1977, and continued to operate it until her death.
She will be missed as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Cromartie and Miller Funeral Home chapel in Dunn, N.C.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
Surviving are daughter, JoAnn Young and husband, Billy, of Mount Olive, N.C.; son, Dempsey Ennis and wife, Deborah, of Dunn; brother, Melvin Andrews and wife, Joyce, of Faison, N.C.; sister, Doris Honeycutt of Clinton, N.C.; grandchildren, Phyllis Jefferson and husband, Ken, Darnell Davis, Michelle Brewer and husband, Todd, Henry Brandon Ennis and wife, Ally, Heather Marie Johnson and Kyle Ennis and wife, Sara; great-grandchildren, Jeremy Jefferson, Chris Jefferson, Caitlin Davis, Cassidy Davis, Cole Brewer and Caleb Brewer; and great-great-grandchildren, Hallie Barwick and Brody Jefferson.
