Harold Barnes, 81, Kenly, died Monday at Smithfield Manor Rehab.
Funeral will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Holly Springs Church, with the Rev. Thomas Brookshire and the Rev. Curtis Jones officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
He was born in Johnston County March 3, 1934, to the late Simon Peter and Renda Hales Barnes. He was married to Christine Collier Barnes.
He is survived by a son and two daughters.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kenly Funeral Service and at other times, at his home.
