Edward Lawrence Stallings, 61, passed away Saturday, Nov. 28 at Palo Alto VA Medical Center, Palo Alto, Calif.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 16, at 1 p.m. in the chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Old Mill Cemetery.
Edward Lawrence Stallings was born May 20, 1953, to the late Jay and Agnes Stallings. He is survived by one son, Johann Stallings of Germany; sisters, Valnolia Cox (Tommy) and Maxine Robinson of Goldsboro, Hazel Walker (Edward) of Charleston, S.C. and Emelda Brooks (Jimmy) of Stone Mountain, Ga.; brothers, Jay Stallings (Linda) of Lithonia, Ga. and Larry Stallings (Barbara) of Patterson, Calif.; and one aunt, Minnie Mozingo of Wilson.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Frederick Stallings and two sisters, Vivian Williams and Lillie Jones.
The family will receive friends at the home of Tommy and Valnolia Cox at 106 Waters Circle in Goldsboro.
