Christopher Ray Daniels, 43, passed away suddenly on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015.
Chris was born in Wayne County on Nov. 30, 1972, to Cathy Ann Lancaster and Gary Leland Daniels. He was employed as the manager of Wildwood Farms in Blounts Creek.
Chris was a true sportsman, most comfortable outdoors, on the water or in the woods. He was a hunter of big and small game and loved walking in the woods with a gun or being on the water with a fishing pole with his son always by his side. Chris was a devoted father whose primary goal was the happiness and security of his son.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015, in Wayne Memorial Park with the Rev. Bill Rose officiating.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by the apple of his eye, his son, Brady O'Neal Daniels; aunts and uncles, Thlanda and Mike Howell, Edward Lancaster, Danny and Pat Daniels, Dorothy Ann Barbour, and Shelton and Gail Daniels; and his special friend, Eddie of Bath.
Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cooper and Evelyn Lancaster, Siegfried and Pauline Lancaster, Lyman Daniels and Charles and Dorothy Williams.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to The First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1100 The First Church Road, Goldsboro, N.C. 27534.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of his mother, 6171 Wayne Memorial Drive, Pikeville.
