Rosa Richardson Wooten, 85, Goldsboro, died Thursday in Barbour Court Nursing Home in Smithfield.

She was born May 30, 1930, in Johnston County to Harvester and Mable Cox Richardson.

Her life will be remembered and celebrated Monday at 1 p.m. in James Thomas Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home. Her mortal frame will be laid to rest in Old Mill Cemetery.

She leaves a wealth of precious memories to her nieces and nephews, Deborah (Drussell) Jones, Sharon Richardson, Anthony (Debbie) Richardson, Betty Richardson of Goldsboro, Walter (Saundra) Richardson of Laurel, Md., Cheryl (Donald) Harmon of Pasadena, Texas, Mable (minister Kevin) Knight of Killeen, Texas, minister Nancy (minister Willie) Perry of Raleigh, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation Sunday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., with the family present to receive friends from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., at Haskins Funeral Home. At other times, the family will receive friends at 104 Beatrice Drive, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
