CRAIG ANDERSON

Oct. 15, 1982-Nov. 30, 2015

Daniel Craig Anderson, 33, Dudley, heroically passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2015.

Craig was born Oct. 15, 1982, in Wayne County to Tony Ray Anderson and Diane Green Anderson.

A loving husband, father, son and brother, Craig was deeply devoted to his family, and his family's well-being was his number one interest.

Craig was always true to himself and his beliefs. With Craig, it can truly be said that what you saw is what you got. With a larger than life presence and a even larger sense of humor, Craig could command the attention of any room he entered.

He took great pride in being a true southern gentleman. From seeking his father-in-law's marriage approval to his one-knee wedding proposal, Craig always wanted to do the right thing.

Craig enjoyed all types of music from the hard rock of AC/DC to classical music. A romantic at heart, Craig's family fondly remembers his ballroom dancing lessons. They laughingly remember his effort and willingness to learn, which was much better than the dancing results. But it also proved he would do anything for his Shara.

Outside of family, Craig's pride and joy was his immaculately restored 1966 Ford Mustang he named Allison.

While watching the movie "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" with his mother, Craig forged a deep interest in the history of the Titanic and the Queen Mary ships.

Craig graduated from Southern Wayne High School in 2000, and for the last three years had worked with SPX Transformer Solutions.

A service to celebrate and honor his life will be held Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, at 11 a.m. from Rouse Funeral Home, with pastor Bill Rose officiating.

In addition to his parents, Craig is lovingly survived by his wife of six years, Shara Svedi Anderson; his 9-month-old son and the apple of his eye, Thomas Ray Anderson; two brothers, David Scott Anderson and wife, Eva, and Darryl Keith Anderson; nieces and nephews, Renee, Dana and Ethan; his father and mother-in-law, Tom and Cara Svedi; sisters and brothers-in-law, Steve Svedi and his wife, Rachael, and their son, Stephen, Stacia Svedi, Shaina Svedi and Scott Svedi; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins from the Anderson and Green families.

Craig's family will receive friends Friday following the memorial service.
