PATRICIA ANN BIZZELL

Patricia Ann Carter Bizzell, 65, of Goldsboro passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2015 surrounded by her family at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
Pat was born in Wilson County on March 16, 1950, to the late Dempsey Carter and Catherine House. She leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love and support for the people she cared about. Pat's enthusiasm and charm will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Pat was a warrior and she fought for her life until the last minute. She lost her life after a 25-year battle with cancer. Pat accepted her illness with grace, dignity and humbleness and used her condition to lift others with similar circumstances up.
A service celebrating Pat's life will be held on Tues., Dec. 1, 2015 at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack C. Booth Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home. Interment will be on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.
Pat is survived by her husband, Dale O'Brien Bizzell; daughters, Pam Wiggins and husband, Chris of Goldsboro and Ann "Fuzzy" Pilkington and husband, Brian of Princeton; and two grandchildren, Christopher Wiggins and Jonathon Wiggins. She is also survived by three brothers-in-law, Fletcher Bizzell, Dwight Bizzell and Milford Bizzell; one niece, Selena Bizzell, one nephew, Terrance Bizzell, two grandsons, Danya Bizzell and wife, Lavergne and D'Maurice Bizzell; and three great-grandchildren, Lennox, Maddox and Leanna Bizzell.
