James Mathis Bowden, 81, Garner, died Saturday at Litchford Falls Healthcare and Rehab in Raleigh.
Funeral will be at Rose Hill Funeral Home chapel in Rose Hill Friday at 1 p.m., with Dr. Woodrow Grady officiating. Burial will be at Bowden Family Cemetery in Magnolia.
He is survived by two sons and a daughter.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home.
