Linda Carol Burtchell, 53, Littleton/Goldsboro, died on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015, at her parents' Lake Gaston home.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Alan Burtchell Jr. and Helen Robinson Burtchell.
The Rev. Arthur Warren will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 26, at the Littleton United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the Selah Christian Church Cemetery in Four Oaks.
In addition to her parents, Linda is survived by her partner-in-life, Rudolph Taylor; her children, Linda C. Taylor and Jesse Alan Taylor; her brother, Alan W. Burtchell III; and her three grandchildren, Joseph, Nathan and Kaiden.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to the Littleton United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 26, Littleton, N.C., 27850; Sharon United Methodist Church, c/o Ted Woodard, 2010 Severn Road, Margarettsville, N.C., 27853; or to Concord United Methodist Church, c/o Faye Cannon, 7949 N.C. Hwy 903, Halifax, N.C., 27839.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25 at Blaylock Funeral Home in Littleton.
