Rose "Teenie" Lee Keith, 71, Goldsboro, passed away Monday, Oct. 19, 2015, at her home.

Teenie was born in Johnston County Oct. 21, 1943, to the late Harden and Irene Brantham Lee.

She had worked as a bus driver, as well as a substitute teacher with Wayne County Public Schools.

Prior to her service with the school system, Teenie had worked with the Base Exchange at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.

Teenie was the kindest and most loving wife, mother and grandmother and a great friend to everyone. She will be missed by all who were blessed enough to know her.

The family will gather for a time of visitation and remembrance Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.

Teenie is survived by her husband, Willie Maynard Keith; daughter, Denise Keith Harris of LaGrange; son, Dean Keith of the home; grandson, Ryan Harris; sisters, Judy Joyner and husband, Robert, of Saulston and Estelle Fields of Goldsboro; and her canine companion, Angel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Lewis, and her brother, Warren Lee.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to Susan G. Komen Foundation, P.O. Box 650 309, Dallas, Texas, 75265.
