Bryson Stroud, 67, Bradenton, Fla., formerly of Kinston, N.C., died Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 14, 2015, in Manatee General Hospital in Bradenton, Fla.
He was born March 24, 1948, in Lenoir County. He was the son of the late Herbert and Rachel Davis Stroud.
He was a retiree from Dupont in Kinston, N.C.
His wife, Penny Stroud, preceded him in death.
He is survived by three children, Gerald Stroud and wife, Nok, of Bangkok, Thailand, David Stroud and wife, Carrie, of Newport, N.C., and Rachel Lynn Stroud of Durham, and two sisters, Vivian Martin and husband, Bill, of Seven Springs, N.C., and Doris Jewell Gunter and husband, Larry, of Albertson, N.C.
He had six grandchildren.
The Good Earth Crematory in Bradenton, Fla., was in charge of his cremation.
